RECRUITMENT OF SOCIAL SECURITY OFFICER / MANAGER GRADE-II /

SUPERINTENDENT IN ESI CORPORATION

ONLINE Applications (through the website of ESIC at www.esic.nic.in) are invited for filling up the post of Social Security Officer/ Manager Gr-II/Superintendent on regular basis by Direct Recruitment in ESIC

 PAY SCALE :

• Pay Level – 7 of Pay matrix (Rs. 44,900-1,42,400) as per 7th Central Pay Commission.

• In addition to Pay they will also be eligible for DA, HRA and Transport Allowance and other allowances as per rules in force from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• A degree of a recognized University (Preference will be given to the graduates in Commerce/Law/Management).
• Working knowledge of computer including use of office suites and database.

NATIONALITY :

• a citizen of India, or
• a subject of Nepal, or
• a subject of Bhutan, or
• a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the Ist January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or 
• a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar ), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

AGE LIMIT :

SC/ST : 5 years

OBC   : 3 years

PH      : As per instructions of DoPT, a PWD applicant is entitled to age concession in

            different combinations subject to the condition of maximum age of 56 years.

            Further in case of a PWD by virtue of being a ESIC/Govt. Employee,

            concession to him/her will be admissible either as a 'person with disability' or

            as a ESIC/Govt. Employee' whichever may be more beneficial to him/her.

FEE :

• SC/ST/PWD/ Departmental Candidates, Female Candidates & Ex Servicemen
• * This fee of Rs. 250/- shall be refunded duly deducting Bank Charges as applicable,
• on appearing of the candidate in the Part-I Written Examination.
• All other categories : Rs. 250/-

EXAMINATION STYLE :

1 English Language 30 Qs.  30 Marks  20 minutes English

2 Reasoning Ability 35 Qs.  35 Marks  20 minutes Hindi & English

3 Quantitative Aptitude 35 Qs.35 Marks  20 minutes Hindi & English

Total 100 Questions  100 Marks 

CENTRE OF EXAMINATION : 

• The examination will be conducted online in venues given in the respective call letters.
• No request for change of centre/venue/date/session for Examination shall be entertained.
• ESIC, however, reserves the right to cancel any of the Examination Centres and/ or add some other Centres, atits discretion, depending upon the response, administrative feasibility, etc.
• ESIC also reserves the right to allot the candidate to any centre other than the one he/she has opted for.
• Candidate will appear for the examination at an Examination Centre at his/her own risks and expenses and ESIC will not be responsible for any injury or losses etc. of any nature.
• No TA/DA will be paid to any candidate including SC/ST candidates for appearing in the examinations.
• Choice of centre once exercised by the candidate will be final.
• If sufficient number of candidates does not opt for a particular centre for "Online" examination, ESIC reserves the right to allot any other adjunct centre to those candidates OR if the number of candidates is more than the capacity available for online exam for a centre, ESIC reserves the right to allot any other centre to the candidate.
